Brake Switch and Coil Wiring Questions
Hello guys!
I am wrapping up the installation of my Painless Wire Harness on my 72 C10. I have also installed Autometer gauges for speedo, tach, fuel, water temp, oil pressure and voltage. I have two questions: 1) I have the 350 engine, but there is no separate coil. Which wire on the distributor represents the coil for the tach signal? Can you post a picture of which wire coming off the dizzy is the one I need? 2) Where can I find the brake switch? Is it in the cab or under the hood? I'm sorry for the dumb questions, I have gotten everything pretty much done. It is a rewarding experience, justwant it done right. Thanks! Posted via Mobile Device

The tach terminal is marked on the distributor cap. You may need a flashlight to be able to read it. The brake light switch is under the dash, between the clutch and brake pedals on manual trans and just to the left of the brake pedal on auto trans trucks. LockDoc

Re: Brake Switch and Coil Wiring Questions
Hi Leon,
Is the brake switch silver, "L" shaped? I might have removed it... Posted via Mobile Device
