Master Cylinder Help

Trying to figure out which master cylinder I need. Truck is a 69 with power drums. I have converted to 72 front discs, ran all new lines, and have a CPP prop valve/lines. I want to use my existing power booster.

The prop valve is setup to mate to a master cylinder that has the ports situated the same distance away from center line. This would appear to be a 73+ master cylinder from looking at the parts catalogs. The 72 master cylinder as the front port offset closer to centerline than the rear.

Companies like CPP use a master that looks like a car master cylinder. It will fit the prop valve.

Are all of these interchangeable? Tried searching and didn't find the info I need. Thanks

Re: Master Cylinder Help

You need to post some specific part # for the M/C you are referring to.

I would use a 71-72 M/C and bend some new lines to your prop valve.
Buying a M/C prop valve combo save bending lines there,... but you normally need to bend up a few new steel lines to connect this to your truck.
