ls oil pans
I am going to be puting my lq9 together in a month or so and I was needing a different oil pan. It has the stock lq4 pan on it now and with the front end thats under it the engine would bolt up to the motor mounts but would be sitting on the pan. I was originally just going to rasie the motor up about 3/4 of a inch but it would sit at a 8 deg angle and I was wanting more like 3-5 (the motor mounts are not stock either). I found a pan made by kevko for a f-body are which was the kind pan I was planning on using. Has anyone used these before? did they seal well?

Re: ls oil pans
Dunno about sealing, but if the dimensions are the same as the F-body, it should save you some space. Like most sheetmatal pans, it will require an external filter. Why not try a stock F-body pan?
