Gas Gauge help
okay I replaced my sending unit in the tank today. I hooked the wire to it and turned the key it read 3/4 of a tank I was like sweet it works no more tracking mileage. So I turned off the key unhooked the wire and put the hoses on and the small clip that holds the gas lines up. Put the seat back in, turn the key and now the gauge stopped working. When I ground the wire that goes to the sender it goes empty when I leave it open it goes past full to like the 3 o'clock position. Anyone have any ideas, I would much appreciate it.
