Electrical Issue
My truck was fine for a long time and it just spent six months or so in the body shop being redone now i have this issue,,
when applying the brakes the left brake light doesnt work. you put the left turn signal on and it does put the right signal on and it does.. most times if you use a turn signal it will work right after that at least one time then it doesnt work Flashers always work I did have a couple of hacks into the rear harness for trailer wiring so i replaced the wiring harness with a good used one and it still does the same thing. Im thinking perhaps the turn signal switch is no good? there is a tilt column in this truck ( i added it) and there is an aftermarket steering wheel and horn kit (that i added) it takes a little extra effort to push the turn signal lever to make a right turn I checked the chassis grounds several times on the truck any other ideas>

Re: Electrical Issue
Having the same problem after changing the tail light harness coupled with the stiffness in the blinker lever would make me think its the signal switch as well.

Re: Electrical Issue
Put a turn signal switch in it.
