WY WTB: E-Brake Cable/ Short Wheelbase - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Want to buy a short wheelbase 2-Wheel drive ebrake cable. I have a 1968 short box.

Cable needed goes from rear wheel cables that are in housings to the cable attached to the handle in hte truck, so I guesss it is called the center cable in the system. The one with not housing.

I attempted to shorten one that I had but the ferrels came off.

Any help appreciated.

I have a 68 short frame here I will check and see if it has that and the condition and let you know later

If you can't find one used they are only $15 aftermarket, $20 if you are running a TH400

Where would you recommend I get the cable if old chevy guy doesn't have one?

Update: the one on the frame I have has been cobbled up by the previous owner and is held together with little cable clamps, sorry.
