Floor mount back to column shift
I have a TH350 AT on the floor that someone did a horrible cut job to that I am planning to switch back to a column shift in my 63' 4x4. I have been gathering everything I need for the switch and need to know what I may be still needing. I have the column from a 72', the replacement high hump tranny tunnel (they butchered the original), and a new ignition switch w/key to fill the hole in the dash. I still need the shift cable(s) from the end of the column to the tranny and any linkage needed? What else am I missing? Are the cable(s) year specific? Can someone post a photo of what the linkage on the tranny looks like and any other pics related I may need? Will a TH400 bolt in with out any mods? Don't want any suprises in the middle of the switch.

Re: Floor mount back to column shift
Column shifters don't work with a cable, they use rods. Your best bet is probably the Lokar kit. You'll see it on Lokar's website.
