283 replacement
i'm replacing the 283(had to) with a '80's 305. the 305 has a quadra-jet which has several vacum inlets that i will need to plug. the valve covers are not stock, but high rise to cover the roller rockers. one valve cover has 2 vent pipes. (the only access for adding oil) there is no pcv valve and the egr has been removed and the hole in the intake is pluged. should i keep the 305 intake with quadra-jet or replace it with the 283 intake and 2 brl?

Run the 305 carb for better driveablity, but I would add a PCV.
