Is this right ?
Guys I need help. Looking at this pic do I have the right center link ? I have a 68 half ton and am in the process of doing the conversion to 71-72 disc brakes. Also what is the thing i circled called, the pitman arm ? Can I have that just switch it to the new drag link ?

Looks like the Pitman arm is the one that is connected to the power steering and the Idle arm is the one that is connected on the opposite side and just does what ever does Pitman arm does ?

question. Do you also have to use the Pitman arm remover to remove the idler arm ?

Ok ran into another problem. I cant find the bushings that to between the pitman arm / center link, and idler arm/ center link....So NOBODY makes these bushing ? Autozone and every other place says I have to buy a new idler arm and pitman arm that comes attached with the bushing ?

You need to install the tie rods for the 71/72 in the inner holes...you currently have them on the outside....I believe the the circled item is your idler arm that mounts on the passenger frame rail....

Something just dosent seem right. I had chance to get back to work on teh truck today and i just cant seem to get it to fight properly. Does anybody have any pics of how it should looks mounted ? 71-72

also is the Idler arm bracket the same for all 67-72 trucks ?
