Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
Got everything wired up and running once again. Now all thats left is to put my seat in buy some new seat belts to match and put the hood back on. Oh mount my bottle and run the line. Was beginning to wonder If it would ever get to the drivable point. Still needs a bath from sitting in the garage.

Re: Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
I have been looking for a 67 chevelle for years now just cant ever get the money and the car at the same time .lol. First Sporty car i ever drove was my uncles with a 327 and a m22. Ever since then Ive always wanted one of the fabled 67 ss396 that also has the malibu package. My all time dream car.

Re: Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
Color is what I like to call Black Cherry. Its a Kustom Candy Color that is a mixture of a couple colors from HOK. Galaxy grey and candy brandywine. Hopefully Ill get the hood back on today when I can get another adult or two to help me put it on. Anyway I gave it a bath and here are a few pics of it in the sun. Its hard to catch all the metallic and multiple shades of red in it in a picture.

Re: Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
in 67 if you got a 138 vin car its a ss if its a 136 its a malibu. only the 138 cars had the 396. the first one that my dad had was a 396 375hp then he found a 396 425hp car that was dead took the motor to motion performance and had them biiuld it up. last that car in a shop fire. but we have talked about the black cherry on one for a few years now. and after seeing it on your truck i think i will give the black up for that.

Re: Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
Here are some pics of it all together finally. Ignore the funky red seat and ugly seat belts. its original lol. will be recovered shortly. Need to order the back bumper and finally found someone who has the center caps and they should be here friday.

Re: Something about a truck.. In my driveway!!
i did not know that you could get the malibu on a ss but you learn something every day. do you think that if you did a black base coat on the paint that it would give it a more black look when not looking straight at it? i like yours but i think your color when you look straight on it would be sick and the black in the side view if that makes any sense at all lol. also the tuck is just sick looking glade you stuck with it and got her this far. seen to many good projects not get done do to a few problems. but when they do u can get something like what you have makes it all worth the bs.
