I joined the square club....again!
I had an 82 Chevy years ago...first pic...sold it to get my 69 GMC. I have just purchased a 79 Chevy, 454/400. I saved it from being crushed! Bought it from a local recycling center and this thing is mean! Camper Special Crew Cab. I love it and am hip to be square again! Mind you, my 69 is still my priority, but I needed a truck rather than my 86 Accord.

Can't believe that a nice truck like that was going to be crushed.

Re: I joined the square club....again!
I can't believe it was headed to be crushed either. It is a California truck, only surface rust in a few spots. The bed has been used, bed floor has holes and is fairly wavy, but the sides are great. Interior is rough. Engine runs great, trans shifts great. My plans as of now are to fix ball joints and replace valve cover gaskets and just drive it. I need to get my 69 going so this will be my driver for a bit. Good thing I don't drive far to work!
