Touch up paint
I have been searching for a can of touch up paint for my 78 off and on for 5 years and found this co,anyone ever use them? paid 27.00 for one can of 53l colonial yellow, original color of my truck, had the truck painted to original color 8 years ago by Macco ,cost me $2300! they did some body work, their color match was pretty right on,but they forgot to put their paint code/formula on the receipt,my local automotive paint store needed this for them to make up a batch of touch up,so hope this works!

Re: Touch up paint
No doubt that's helpful.. I tried to use it ones but the problem is that it doesn't show you the EXACT color chips. However, your truck looks UNBELIEVABLE!!!
This is the website I used to chose my correct color. http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/chipcrea...Truck&ret=code |

Re: Touch up paint
The cost of $2300 includes everything? I mean all the paint and labor?

Re: Touch up paint
lowesguy-
I've used www.automotivetouchup.com before and their match was dead on. My color didn't even have a color chip on the website to compare it to, but I still took a chance. I just used my color code from my glove box. The paint is high quality and the can has the large nozzle for good paint flow... Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Touch up paint
Great! if it say's 53L on there site it should be a perfect match, doing some small rust repair on lower parts of fenders ,prepping it to sell, can't afford the gas anymore, will be sorry to see it go after 20 years, lots of memories but sits in the driveway more than not
