You can buy them new for about $200. Note that there are two different versions, pre '85, and '85 and up. Pre '85 has the hourglass t-case bolt pattern. '85 and up has the round t-case bolt pattern.

Try Parts Mike
You might want to give Parts Mike a call. He has a pretty good network of all things 4wd, and if he doesn't have it, he probably knows someone that does. Plus he's local. Here's a link to his web page with email and a phone number.

Wow, when Mike can't locate one that's a problem. Did you try posting on http://coloradok5.com/ ? There's usually someone on there with 205 parts and pieces. The dealers are pretty proud of their stuff aren't they? Advance Adapter should start making them, probably cut the price in half. Good Luck

Talked to mike at advance adaptors and they are looking into making the 400/205. They just came out with the 350/205 about 2 months ago and the 400/205 may not be out for another year.

I just purchased one a couple of weeks ago from 4X Heaven along with a complete rebuild kit and the input gear. I am converting a original 350 case to the 400 type with the female input. Give them a call.
