I HAVE A 1965 C-10 CUSTOM W/AIR.MY QUESTION IS ABUOT THE MOTOR THAT I GOT WITH THE TRUCK.IT'S A TALL DECK 409 V-8 FROM A '65 CHEVY TRUCK.I WAS TOLD THIS IS THE ORIGINAL MOTOR COULD IT BE OR WAS THE GUY I GOT IT FROM JUST FULL OF CRAP

Most likely, the previous owner was full of crap. I haven't heard of a stock 65 c10 with an engine bigger than a 283 small block. The 327 small block was only available after 1966. That size engine may have been available in a c20 of that year model but I am not sure.
