Does anyone know where to get aftermarket bedsides for a short bed fleetside?? The only ones that I can find are for a step side.

I can't find complete bedsides for a short fleet either, however, I have noticed you can pretty much make one from buying the front and rear lower bed side patch panels, I guess I'm gonna give it a try, mine are to jumbled up to try and straigten out, someone already tried, it's bondo slop with major rust. What's going on with yours? Rusty or wrecked?

Re: aftermarket 60-66 fleetsides
I have a 1960 Chevy SWB that I am wanting to put a fleetside bed on and
cant seem to find a bed. I would consider the aftermarket, but haven't seen anything on them. If you find out anything or if you find a way to build from replacement panels I would be interested in finding out what you learn. Anybody that wants to trade a short stepside for a fleetside let me know. FYI, The stepside box is in great shape however it has 68 fenders on it. |

I haven't heard of anyone making entire repro fleet side bed panels yet.
Maybe put a 'wanted to buy ad' over in the parts section... another place to look is at the stovebolt page( http://www.stovebolt.com ), under 'forums, swap meet, trucks parts for sale'. -W |

Yep, they are expensive!!! Then you have to cut the cab for all the wholes you need!!! Just be sure not to mess up!! I like old fashioned metal!! if you screw it up, just patch weld it!!!
