fuel tank venting
on my 72 blazer the fuel tank has 1 vent on each side which goes up near the taillight and a line coming from the taillight area going to the front of the motor area. are these needed? why so much venting?

Re: fuel tank venting
Somebody else on here just asked about the fuel tank venting and another member posted up a nice diagram of all of the vent lines showing where they all go. If they don't repost it in this thread, try doing a search and it should come up.
Some of the venting is for emmisions purposes to capture vapor, and some is to allow you to fill the tank while letting air escape. |
