egr solenoid 2007 chevy suburban
I have a 2007 chevy 1500 4x4 suburban and it is throwing a code for a shorted or bad egr solenoid. I bought a new solenoid now I need to know where it is located. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Pretty sure the last year for EGR was 03 or 04. If you do happen to have one, there will be a tube coming from the side of the passengers side exhaust manifold leading dirctly to it.

I am told this solenoid is by the gas tank possibly above the spare tire. It controls the amount of air that passes through the gas tank charcoal filter box.

Do you mean EVAP solenoid?
Do you have a code number? |
