members helping members
Hi guys, im going to throw this out there i hope its not against any kind of forum rules(dont see why it would be) but heres my request...
my brother joe (joseph.a.hunt) on the forum, and i are both members of this forum. and lovers of squares.. hes currently serving us in the Army in one of the hottest activity spots over seas, he and his "brothers" are having a pretty hard time right now and i wanted to try to cheer him and them up. id like to ask you guys to take a minute and a couple dollars for a flat rate box or a stamp and send them pics or build stories, ideas old magazines ( hot rod, truckin, super chevy, rod and kustom, anything like that). anything to pass time and lift his spirits. per request of the army i cant divulge his exact location but i will forward this stuff to him. PM for my address and ill pay to re-ship it to him. i, in advance, thank all of you for your input, for your time and for your support. Thank You, Wade Hunt |

I don't have any square memorabilia, but just a thought - does your bro have internet access? Can they access this website? There lots of build pics/stories here. Or you can print them out and send them.

Very rare net access... enough to Skype his wife once In a blue moon. He's remote enough he got his first shower in two months the other day. Good idea tho!

Re: members helping members
You might also see if there is a local Blue Star Moms chapter that could help you out. They are typically very active with sending care packages to the troops.
A few years back a board member (Brad2) had a lot of old car/truck mags he wanted to get rid of so I picked them up and dropped them off at my Armory for the Blue Star Moms to send over.
