I have a 1972 C10 2wd and am looking to raise the front end to level it with the rear. What is a cheap and easy way to do so?

thanks!

1" drop blocks in the rear = much easier and same result. (assuming youu're ok with it being a tad lower than stock? ) Prob what I'd do .. just sayin.

^^^. Spring spacers will give you a stiffer ride up front. When I had my 4wd Pathfinder I used coil spring spacers to give an inch of clearance. Everytime I hit a speed bump(even at low speeds) the springs would basiclly bottom out on the spacers. Atfer about a week they ended up in the local landfill. Just my $0.02 though.

Thanks,
Chris

X2 I have tried cheap and easy spacers before, every time it was unacceptable. Just a waste of time and money. Rear drop springs would be the way to go IMO

Re: how do I raise front end on 72 truck 1 inch

I'm not looking to drop my truck at all, but thank you for your advice.

I have been looking for spacers and couldn't find any. I'll look in to Belltech. If they don't work out I can just take them back out and realign.

thanks!

Re: how do I raise front end on 72 truck 1 inch

I saw a raised truck where the owner put a block between the frame and front crossmember to raise it up, but he told me he had to modify the steering components.

Re: how do I raise front end on 72 truck 1 inch

I just put Power King Super Traxion II's (7 X 15) on, and it looks great. So Im just looking for an easy way to bring the front end up a little. Sounds like the coil spacers may be the way to go. I take it pretty easy on the truck and just want it to look nice.

Re: how do I raise front end on 72 truck 1 inch

Are you talking easy,... as in not disassembling the front suspension?

Belltech makes a 1" coil spring spacer that goes in the lower a-arm cup,... but the spring has to come out.

Big block front springs maybe?.. that would raise it about an inch
