rear disk conversion question
dos any one know of a disk brake conversion kit for Dana 44 rear ends used on GMCs ? i would like to run disks on the rear of my 66 GMC but don't want to change out my Dana its been totally rebuilt & springs de arched. ive looked all through past posts & have only found this done on C-10 trucks with coils thanks for any help.

You might check with some of the suppliers that cater to the 4x4/offroad crowd. Although I don't know if you will find anything for a 6 lug application, but it is possible. If you have the means to weld the brackets on, take a look at Speedway Motors. They sell weld on caliper brackets geared towards the roundy round guys.
