Inner fenders idea?
So, I'm wondering if anyone has ever cut down their inner fenders/wheel wells and grinded the edge smooth, to give the smaller look of trailet fenders?
I thought using oem ones would be easier, since there won't be any fittment issues. And would be ideal for me, as I never plan on lowering my truck so no clearance issues with tires. And working on it with them off its been a breeze, but I think they serve a legit purpose. Only issue I'm experiencing is slight rust on engine/bolts from the moisture. (should've primed engine before paint, so that's the price of being impatient) Any advice/experience with cutting them will be appreciated, thanks. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Inner fenders idea?
I did this many years ago on my chevelle. I raced the car and it made access so much easier. I just used a little 2" air cutting disc. Just use masking tape to tape out the line you want and follow it with the cutting disc. I didnt need to redo the edges, they were fine after the cut.
