4L80E crossmember kit from jegs?

I am starting a LQ4, 4L80E install into my 1985 C10 chassis and have no crossmember at all. I was thinking of picking up one of the kits from jegs called a Trans Dapt 700R4/4L60E/T56 Trans Crossmember . I can get it in straight, 3" or 6" drop. Which one would you think would work the best. They cost about 80.00. I see the 4L80E is not listed but was hoping it would work any way.
Thanks Steve

Re: 4L80E crossmember kit from jegs?

i think the 700r crossmember will bolt to trans but will push the crossmember farther back on the frame so new bolt holes will need to be drilled. its been a while since i looked this up so double check
