Wink I Didn't have the heart to steal parts off this truck.

Don't believe it, the 1 family owned super clean 65' longie belongs to a old coworker of mine "Dave" who's Grandfather bought it brand new, this truck has less than 70,000 miles, after all these years Dave says it time for a little comfort like air conditioning, power steering and a tilt, I told him to cut it down to a shorty, he replied no, that he rather cut my throat first! Ouch!

If this Dave fellow is inclined to go all-out for comfort and install some late model leather seats, I'd be happy to get that red vinyl trimmed bench out of his way. - Just here to help.

I thought of you the whole time I looked at the truck, this truck is "almost in your league".

very nice! always neat to see them practically untouched over the years...i'm not a big fan of long beds myself, but i wouldn't have the heart to cut one down with that kinda history

That truck is beautiful! I don't understand why everyone want's to chop a real bed into a toy bed

Add some creature comforts, and drive the wheels off of it!

Naw, it's a Shui special, it will look okay, but the paint match job is not a "Kevin Hernandez" quality job.

Do you know if the Richardson Cheverolet frame has different color letters? I have one also that in thinking about restoring.

I'm sure they did, the one pictured looked like it had been repainted at one time.

Re: I Didn't have the heart to steal parts off this truck.

I'm glad you didn't cut it down to a shortbed.

Long beds rule, too many shorties getting all the press. They look deformed to me, Ha, my eyes like the proportions of the long beds better.

"To each his own"

Nice original truck, a rare gem for sure.
