help need a throttle cable - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

ok i have been looking for a throttle cable for my 85 k30 6.2 diesel. cant find one at all. tryd lmc rock auto autozone and afew of the venders here and summitracing. my throttle sticks do to rust where it chaffed through at some point. its not fun when it is stuck full throttle lol. thanks for the help, mike

will be replacing mine soon. but napa has factory ones for under $20 but this is for a gas v8 model . yeah idling at 1000 is annoying this kick the gas and it idles normal at 700.. time for new one!!

Search for an Impala early 80's car. Impalas did come with diesel engines. I remember my dad owned one. We loved driving the thing. It was a slow pig. Milage was crazy high too.

No kidding??? I was just in need of one for a 79 scottsdale gas engine.... all i could find at the local junk yard was diesels... I finally got 2 way in the back...
Seems to me the diesel throttle cable was about a mile long compared to the gas engine??

see thats what i thought to that the gas was short. damn could you get me the deisel one

lol mine is totly gone. went for a ride today after changing to a stiffer spring and no luck.
