need some guidance on my 64 project.....

hello everyone new to the forum ok here it is , 64 chevy shorty stepper, going to do basic dropmember in the rear, mild front dropmember with bags all four corners, thinking of using the 13" mcgaugheys front and rear break kits, the rear end will be a 9 inch from a 79 ltd 2, which as far as i can tell is a 62 or 63 inch housing. my questions are can i run a 18x8 set of wheels with 4.5 bs then will the stock inner fenders work or will i need to do something custom? would another tire size work better not running rubberbands either i want some tire under the truck. realistically how close would this set up be to laying frame when aired out? should i reconsider the brake package? this is the start of something beautiful and satisfying and yet frustrating lol
