Re: Traded His Mustang For 66 Short Fleet
I think your buddy got a killer deal on that sweet fleetside.
With that said I used to have a 200ci 1968 Mustang for a short while that same color matter of fact and it was a nice car. The 200ci inline 6 was actually an impressive little engine. I almost want to say that the inline Ford 6 engines are just a tad smoother and more refined than the inline 6 chevys. I believe they have an extra set of mains or something I've heard. Either way it just seemed like you could rev it more than my 230 inline 6. |

Re: Traded His Mustang For 66 Short Fleet
Nice mustang, really clean looking six under the hood. But it needs a 429 instead of that 200 I would have kept the Stang and bought the truck to boot!
As you can see by my sig, I'm don't discriminate by brand. Cool cars are cool cars.

Re: Traded His Mustang For 66 Short Fleet
Yeah he's pretty happy with it...he has a wicked 350 replacing the 283 and he's adding power steering plus a little lower stance. Here's a step is currently doing.

Re: Traded His Mustang For 66 Short Fleet
Nice trucks! I normally don't like satin finish, but both of those trucks look great. Maybe my problem is I see too many vehicles with satin finish that are not well built like these two. Good trade, I bet both parties are happy. I don't care for 69 notch backs, but it looked like a nice vehicle as well.
