How low will it go??
I'm just finishing up mocking up the front sheet metal on my 51, on an s10 frame. How much will the front end go down when I install the motor and trans (327/ TH350). One inch? Two inches? Just wondering so I can start to figure out if I will want to lower the suspension at all.

Re: How low will it go??
It all depends on the spring rate or even how old the springs are. Mine is not a s10 but it dropped about a inch - 1 1/5 inch.

Re: How low will it go??
My suggestion would be to build it first then if you have to go lower S-10 dropped spindles and lowered springs are readly available and not ex-spensive. If you want to raise it larger stock springs from lets say from an F-Body car will fit.
