water in carb

Well we went to turn my truck on sat. Night and turned on just fine but to our assumption there was a gas leak truck started catching on fire. Wat the first thing my friend does he put the water whose to it. Letting water all in carb. Wat should I do before try to even turn it back on . Besides changing the oil.

try to look in to confirm water, pull carb, and pull plugs,
with coil unplugged crank block see if water comes out plug holes
change oil.....look for water
