Smile Testing 1,2,3... the Gauges

Hey everyone,
So I just started taking apart my '56 cluster to freshen it up a little bit. And I was wondering whether there was any way to test the Temp, Amp, Oil, Gas Gauges, when the cluster is not currently installed and hooked up? Thanks for any help!
