Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
I'm working on a 68 C20 thats going to be getting the porterbuilt treatment soon. I plan on keeping the factory appearance of the truck, and I'm thinking about getting a c30 cab with the bubbles for cab lights. Problem is, I've only been able to find one truck with a cab light roof that was lowered, and none with air ride. Anybody have any pictures?

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
The '68 cab stock with roof marker lamps did not have the embossed pads. That came on the later trucks. The correct lamps are a direct fit to the roof you have and were offered as an accessory. If you really want to use the later style light then go ahead. Jeremiah King has a roof section and the lights/harness for sale.

That is a late cab with the '68 front end. Here is a '68.

Love that pic!!! With the cab lights it kind of makes your truck one of kind. Might look into the clear lens and even the LED lights, something different to standout.

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
Thanks for tbe pics and links guys. Theres a c30 with the cab still on it at the local pull a part ive been considering getting. I took the lights off last time I was there. Im keeping the big mirrors on mine and looking into going with a diesel so i thinm the cab lights with contribute to the theme. Once i get a cab done i wont drill into the roof though lol. Need to decide on it soon...

If the truck is a dually, cab lights are hot if bagged...if regular, looks weird IMHO

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
I dont have pics anymore lost them when my computor died, but a few years ago i was looking at a bagged ramp truck, slammed, flat black, and a lot of aluminum diamond plate. It had roof lights and looked sick. It was in MI. area.
If i had a truck with a clean roof i probably wouldn`t drill holes in it.

Here's my '69 with ridetech bags. Still needs some work, like getting rid of those rear view mirrors.

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
I think it would look good if it's a 3/4 ton with a work truck type theme. On a 1/2 ton I would vote no, but I don't like cab lights on any 1/2 ton.

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
Here run these 'till you decide. If nothing else you could see how they look on your truck before you do anything major.

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
I appreciate the input guys. And my plan for the truck is to have it look just like it does in my avatar(small pic I know), but laying frame

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
Here is a pic I saved from somewhere... I like the cab lights on a dually whether lowered, bagged, or stock height but not on a half ton.

Re: Any lowered/bagged trucks with cab lights?
wrong body style, but 80s body style has smaller "bumps" and even later models have smaller yet. on this dually it will have late 2000's clear lenses with yellow LED's |
