chirp..chirp

What would make a chirp, chirp, chirp that increases with speed of truck?

Pretty sure I don't have a nest of chicks! Lol

I had a speedometer cable cause that before... Sometimes it chirped, sometimes it screeched. Only did it when the weather was cold.

It seems to be coming from the front, and possible more prominent on the driver side. ... could be speed cable, mine does the ten MPH jump.

Re: chirp..chirp

Increases with the speed, or the RPM? Just thought I'd ask cause if its RPM then it could be a belt.

Re: chirp..chirp

Does it sound like an angry squirrel?

My truck made the same sound; it's the speedometer cable. I lubed my cable up, and I no longer have the chirruping.
