Finished my column!

I finally got that silly locking ring back onto my column tonight, I took a deep socket, stuck it on, and just hit the thing really hard. It popped right into place, sure too bad I didn't think about that a week ago... Anyways, I don't have a horn (either the steering wheel isn't on all the way, the horn assembly is broken, the horn relay is toast or I couldn't figure out how to get the little plates to go back on properly, probally a combination of all of them) but everything else works. It should hold up until I decide if I am gonna keep the truck or not based on gas mileage and such, at which point I will totally replace this sick excuse for a steering column...

Glad to see you got it working again. Check your fuses for the horn. It usually shorts out really easily when working on that.
