T orque within a usable range of spds

I thought I had started a new thread with this earlier, but either I do not know how to start a thread or someone removed it. I built a excell spreadsheet that shows usable torque to the ground with different tire sizes, rear axle ratios, and transmissions in final drive. I also built in a speed calculator with those same variables taken into account. If you are trying to decide on which axle ratio, transmission, tire size, engine combo this could be very handy in predicting how a vehicle will perform before actually changing anything. PM me here on the board with the Following information:

1. tire diameter

2. rear axle ratio

I will provide you at no charge a excell spreadsheet which shows how much power the truck will have and the speed it will going at different rpms'

Re: T orque within a usable range of spds

Here is the shortened version of the info that is available.

3:73 rear axle ratio 30" tire diameter

engine: 250-i6 292-i6 283-4b 327-4b 350tbi 350Lt1
hp 150 hp 147hp 195hp 275hp 200hp 300hp rpm rpm rpm
1500 2000 3000
mph mph mph
700r4 422flbs 494flb 4653flb 366flb 477flb 687flb 49 66 98

3-spd 579flbs 678flb 637flb 898flb 653flb 734flb 36 48 72

The spread sheet is 3 pages long and contains 2 analysis per page which covers most common rear axle ratios It only has 2 trans ratios in it now but I am getting ready to add .80 (t-5).......will add others as needed. Kieth
