T orque within a usable range of spds
I thought I had started a new thread with this earlier, but either I do not know how to start a thread or someone removed it. I built a excell spreadsheet that shows usable torque to the ground with different tire sizes, rear axle ratios, and transmissions in final drive. I also built in a speed calculator with those same variables taken into account. If you are trying to decide on which axle ratio, transmission, tire size, engine combo this could be very handy in predicting how a vehicle will perform before actually changing anything. PM me here on the board with the Following information:
1. tire diameter 2. rear axle ratio I will provide you at no charge a excell spreadsheet which shows how much power the truck will have and the speed it will going at different rpms' Kieth Last edited by kieth; 11-21-2012 at 03:31 PM. |
