How hard is it to remove and replace dash in a 59 and just what steps do I need to take?

Re: dash
purdy hard, lot of spot welds to cut out. If the radio hole has just been cut up they make a patch panel for that.

Re: dash
That is what I thought, guess we will try the patch if rest of dash is sound. There is paint peeling or bubbling around most of knobs on the dash is this normal or sign of rust ?

Re: dash
Post a photo, could be rust, could be old bad paint. The radio section is available as a patch panel.
