I used these brackets on the small block engine in*my 1979*Malibu*to mount my stock alternator when I installed cylinder heads WITHOUT accessory mounting holes.

You could use the 215R alone if you have cylinder heads WITH accessory mounting holes.

Unfortunately, the engine that these brackets were on self destructed, so I am installing a milder engine with later model serpentine front accessory drive.

Mounting Hardware INCLUDED as shown in photos.

215R Bracket

This bracket mounts the alternator just above the pump inlet. Bolts to head and water pump. Works well in low hood applications or for extra space for TPI fuel lines, etc. FITS LONG PUMP ONLY. This bracket can also be used with engines that have no bolt holes in the heads by using the optional 215RO below.

215RO Support Bracket
This optional bracket kit allows the 215R to be used on engines without a hole in the head. Bolts to water pump attachment points and back of the alternator.

The fit and finish of these brackets is EXCELLENT! The Alan Grove website mentions that since this is a custom fit bracket set, you may have to install shims or slightly file your water pump to install, but they fit my engine perfectly.
