Need help with pump to carb fuel line
I have an aftermarket mech fuel pump. I have an edelbrock carb that has that nipple on the rear of the carb. Do i just run all rubber line to a filter then from filter to the vaccum lookong nipple for fuel? I wanted to hardline it but if its rubber then thats easier huh? And what kind of filter can i use?

Re: Need help with pump to carb fuel line
I read somewhere that you shouldn't have more than a foot of rubber line in a fuel system. I just used the standard metal pump to carb line that came on mine and cut the end off so I could run an 8" rubber line with an inline filter to the nipple at the back of my eddlebrock.
I think you can see a little of it in the picture.

Re: Need help with pump to carb fuel line
Thanks10 that really seems the route to go because yes, frog, you can unscrew the fuel inlet which looks like a vaccum line really but ive heard its easy to damage and my line and pump are 3/8. Fuel port is 5/8 im told.
