axle clips

Anybody got any tricks to getting these off without any ring pliers.I'm talking about the ones that hold the akles in.

Why dont you just push the axle in more? Your talking about the "C" clips washers right?

Once the center pin is removed from the carrier, push the axle in about1/4 to 3/8 inch, and the c-clip will fall off!

Be very very careful not to break the bolt holding the center pin. They are prone to break and then the fun really begins.
