LSx 4x4 Cross member???
I'm in the process of fabricating my own crossmember and need a little help. I would like to know if any of you guys that have purchased pacific fabrications crossmember have any of the measurements. Although it is very nice I simply cannot afford their crossmember at this time. I need the measurements that go across at the top and bottom of the plate where the motor mounts bolt to. I don't currently have a bare block to use as a mock up or it would not be an issue. I'm working with a guy that is helping me with this and if it turns out okay I may build a few of them for those who are strapped like I am. Here is a picture of the LSx member and the measurements I need at this time. The photo was taken from Thealiens's build thread, I think. I believe the design has changed but that measurement is still the same.

Re: LSx 4x4 Cross member???
I thought that the Pacific Fab crossmember was way too much money for what it is and i did not like the looks of it either. So, I decided to build my own. I just finished welding it last night. It fits like a glove. I still have some polishing, blasting and painting to do before i install it, but i am happy with it and i probably only have $50.00 in it with the poly bushings. Sorry i can't help with the measurements you need.

No worries. That looks nice. Let me know if you decide to make a few more and sell them
