Re: Stockinteriors.com

I haven't but that seems like a very good price for carpet.

Re: Stockinteriors.com

I bought mine from them. It's ACC carpet. I ordered the mass backing from them also. When they boxed it up it was still warm and some got on the carpet fibers. I gave them a call and they made me a new one and had UPS pick up the "bad" one. I was very happy with the carpet and the customer service.

Re: Stockinteriors.com

I used them on the carpet I put in my old '74. Great service, a lot cheaper than ACC too. I actually bought the loop carpet (not correct, but teh look I wanted- $10 upcharge). The mass backing was an upcharge as well, but I would definitely recommend it. I would also recommend the matching mats. Seems like it was $220 or so for mass backed carpet and mats shipped. Of course that was 8 mionths ago, I may be a little off on price.

Re: Stockinteriors.com

I bought mine from stockinteriors, even bought another remnant piece and did the back wall since I was switching to buckets. Your biggest problem is gonna be the cold temperature right now, carpet lays out better when its warmer weather, I let mine sit out of box in sun for 3 days before install.

Did you use the mass backed for the back wall?
What about the edges?

No I didnt, they didnt offer that option, they sell it by the yard sorta, one piece is 36" X 72" which is perfect with carpet to trim/spare. May sound crazy but I attached it to the back wall using wide velcro on vertical and horizontal just like the bedrugs attach, holding up great and countoured well. The sides really dont need a edge trim but some day I would like to make a crome or stainless trim piece to detail the top edge better. My truck isnt a show truck and this was my first vehicle carpet and I think it turned out pretty good for an amateur

Re: Stockinteriors.com

I get mine from them for all my builds, here's it in my '87 with mass backing (I always get it with mass backing):

(tip: let it get hot in the sun before installing like was previously mentioned)
