Exhaust for a LT1 in my 1958 Truck
I need some help figuring out what exhaust manifolds to use on my LT1 install. On the drivers side the steering is so close I can not use the exhaust manifold off of the 1995 LT1. Ideally, a tight fitting manifold that dumps out the rear. There is not room to drop below the plugs. I would appreciate any help.

I have seen where some guys take their manifolds to a machine shop and have the cylinder head mating surface cut at a angle so they have more frame clearance

I'm not sure with your frame, but for my 95 LT1 in my 48' I bought some patriot shorty block hugger headers. They hug the block tight. They were less than $250 and they are ceramic coated.

Thanks all. I found a rams horn out of a 1969 chevy truck. Clears nicely. The project continues - Hurray
