69 front coil spring install???
Anyone have pointers on installing (compressing) the front coil springs for install? I've got 3 different styles of compressors and can't seem to get any of them to do the trick. Operator error undoubtedly.

Re: 69 front coil spring install???
I just separate the lower ball joint and push the lower control arm down as far as I can. Then put the spring in (uncompressed) this may require some force. After the spring is in and lined up at the top, jack up under the lower control arm until the ball joint is high enough to reattach it to the spindle. Make sure it stays lined up in the top the whole time you are jacking up on the lower control arm.
