I see you posted photos. 1.I see the door screws and ferrules I need. 2. I also see the adapter I need on the proportioning valve. It take around a 3/4" wrench to remove and adapts the prop valve to the 3/8" brake line threads. 3. In the detail photo of the brake booster/ prop valve and mastercylinder, a brake controller was installed at some time, so it looks like the prop valve to frame brake lines are too twisted up to use I may be wrong.(?) If not, a good tip is to soak the connections in some good penetrating oil like PB blaster before trying to remove and use good quality line wrenches to remov if you have them. 4. Not sure about rear axle brake lines...They may be more trouble to remove than they are worth. Same tip as above with soaking connections to get loose. They are not very usable if the connections get rounded off with a wrench or vice grips. I have removed lines like this in the past from trucks I parted by heating up the wheel cylinders with a torch first. They break loose easy then, but off course you have to have access to a torch. The wrecking yard near me wouldn't let me use their torch or do it for me, even though their (semi) trained monkeys were using it nearby. |

Re: 1972 burb
The list grows. The body shop also lost the big washers that go on the inner fender to cab mounting bolts as well as the wiper motor mounting screws. I also need four seat belt bolts if you have them.

Re: 1972 burb
What do you want for the lower sections in front of both rear wheel wells? Cut about 4" above the body lines? They look like good pieces to repicate. WES
