Re: my 74 jimmy build

Me to i just realized that yesterday going threw my phone i had pics of a 73-76 passenger door so this weekend im going to bring it out and cut the door so i can open and close the passenger door with a lil more ease and it not look like crap also still trying to get it to run right put new plugs in it and a newer carb i got from a buddy and new points. So ive decided to ditch the points and put in a newer style distributer and it is getting gas. I will update more this weekend

Those look like they match your interior. Do you have the K5 seat bases?

The PO of my 79 welded some junkyard seats to the factory bases. I used an air chisel and grinder to separate them. They got a little teaked in the process but I can get them back in shape. If yours aren't cut too bad, I'd at least try.

Re: my 74 jimmy build

I had a better door laying round (yes its a 73-76) so i cut it and yet to put glass in it yet want to find a set of good door but this is a step up from the old one also im tired of messing with this motor so im going to be yanking my 350 out of my 78 lwb and putting in here. The 78 is a 2wd thats going to be 4x4 soon and have a compleat running gear out of my old 88 suburban 3/4 ton
