305 fuel injection swap to 350?

I have an 87 Chevy V10 with the fuel injected 305. I also have a 350 long block out of a 91 chevy. Can I drop in the 350 block and put the 305 manifold and injection on without further modification to the throttle body, injectors, etc?

Wow, I thought a ton of people would have tried this already.
I'll give it a shot and let everyone know how it goes.

If it doesn't work, I can always throw a carb on it.

That's the worst thing you can do by going to carb.

Both 305 and 350 were offered fuel injected - TBI. The major differences were:

a) 305 used 55 lb injectors while 350 used 61 lb injectors.
b) ECM was the same 1227747 service number, but calibrations were different. In a pinch 305 calibration can be used with larger injectors to feed 350.
c) OE Knock sensors (KS) were different, but later service parts are the same. However, I would recommend getting 350 ESC module and KS (if in good shape) from the donor.

Go to the JY. Find a 87- 91 350 TBI truck or van - pull ESC (black square module mounted on intake manifold bracket - grab the whole assembly) module, TB and ECM. Source a new 350 (ACD 213-324) KS sensor. On ECM look for BCC code ASDU, ASDZ, AKWD, plus many other 350CID calibrations will work as well. If you have automatic make sure that ECM came from auto equipped van or truck. 1227747 was also used in V6 applications and calibration will not work with 350. The 1991+ ECM have different service numbers and will not work with 87 harness without a bit of work and reprogramming.

Thanks for the input. I have the original manifold for the 350 with the ECM, TB, and the ESC, but the throttle body looks really corroded so I discounted them as junk. I thought there would be a difference in injectors but wasn't sure. Again, thanks for the help.
