Shifter Recommendations
I have installed a LT1 out of a 1995 Buick Roadmaster in my 1958 Chevy Truck - step side. It has the 4L60E transmission. I was thinking about getting a center console with floor cable shifter to use. Will this work? Any donor vehicle recommendations? Any other ideas? pictures would be great - Thanks in advance.

Re: Shifter Recommendations
you could always look at a floor shift auto Camaro, Chevelle or pretty much any 70's car that had an auto floor shift in it. You'll find all the parts you're looking for

Re: Shifter Recommendations
I'd want to do a bit of research on what vehicles had that transmission that had factory floor shifts in them. That shouldn't be real hard and some may have a better looking shifter in them than others.
One possibility that should be fairly easy to find would be the second generation S-10 Blazer style rigs that came with that trans. You may end up building your own console though to get one to fit right.

Re: Shifter Recommendations
Thanks - the blog searches are interesting. I will continue to search. I do not want to cut a large hole in the floor board removable pan. Thanks all
