Got a response from Ditzler which is now PPG.

Hello Norm,
This color is only attainable through our Rapid Match System, in other words, we do have a formula for it, but you will need to have your PPG distributor give us a call at 1-800-647-6050 in order to obtain it.

I found a simple, but informative site of DuPont, where they list up historical colors with images:

After a bit of searching I found the following color tables
(search words were Chevrolet 1962 and Chevrolet 1964)
