Rubber bumper stops for 57 Stepside valance
Hello,
I have a 57 Stepside. When I open the hood there are two holes in top of the valance. There are no rubber stops or any kind of wheaterstrip in the front of the hood. Must there be rubber stops in the holes? Must there be any kind of weather strip in front of the hood?? Thanks and greetings, Erik |

Hi Erik, welcome to the forum. How 'bout some pictures of your truck? And, maybe a little background?

Re: Rubber bumper stops for 57 Stepside valance
Hello I have no pictures right now..
A little info about the truck : It is a 57 3100 long-bed with a 78 Camaro sub and rear with Koni shoks. It is a little lower then stock 20 mm. Engine is a 350 4 bolt 020 overbore and a Th350 automatic. We rebuild it last year, and tried to built it as comfortable as possible but with the original look and ad a little power to it. Parts are hard to find in The Netherlands so I have bought a lot from Brothers. Thanks and greetings, Erik. |
