New toy!
Howdy. I have been in the 73-87 section for a while now. We picked up this sweet ride today. 2008 gmc 1500 sle 2dw. It has a 5.3 in it with cold air intake and exhaust already. It is super clean only 70000 miles. That is low around here. Traded her 05 malibu in on it. Cant wait to lower it a bit. Looking at like a 2/3 or so.

Re: New toy!
I have the McGaughys kit on my Sierra. Mine is the next drop lower than the one you are looking at. My suggestion would be to upgrade the front struts to a set of adjustable struts from Belltech. They give more spring response than the facftory ones when lowered. Watch your front inner fender wells for rubbing, with my more aggressive kit, I had to cut the top of the wells open and move them up to stop the rubbing when hitting dips and bumps on the highway. Funny thing the faster you go, the lower the truck squats.
