Stepside to Fleetside?
Perhaps I missed the link but I just spent a pretty good while searching to see if there is already a link.
I am wondering what all it would take to switch a stepside truck to a fleetside? How different are the frames...if any? |

Its mainly just a question. I have always loved the fleetside trucks best but since coming here and looking for the last couple weeks I am falling more and more in love with the steppers too. |

Re: Stepside to Fleetside?
No difference in the frames. Just unbolt one and bolt on the other. If they are different years of beds you might have to move or make a mount.

Thanks. I thought that may be the case but since they are different widths I thought it may be different on the frame. I figured that main differences were that one had the bed sides on the exterior of the wheel fenders and one on the interior of them. |

Re: Stepside to Fleetside?
i kinda like the idea but take it one step further by 2 different paint schemes but make them tasteful one side stock look and the other custom baby moons with beauty rings and a 2" drop call it" 2 face" or" split personality"

Re: Stepside to Fleetside?
If you like the look of both step side and fleetsides, then bolt the step side fenders to the fleetside fenders. That's already been done though for a dually ... LoL
