Manuals
Does anyone have advice for where to find quality reprint shop manuals for a 66? Looks like there are lots of choices online. Did anyone have a positive experience at a reasonable price?

Re: Manuals
You can find the originals for the same cost if not often cheaper on ebay. For the 66, you will need the 63 book w/the 66 supplement

Re: Manuals
I bought mine at Chevy Duty (now Classicparts.com), along with tons of other stuff and never been disappointed with their pricing, service, or products.
http://www.classicparts.com/1963-Sho...ctinfo/04-021/ If you also want a Factory Assembly Manual, I’ve read it is not recommended to get the disc version. This manual is just a bunch of assembly instructions and schematics designed to assist engineers and production workers when the truck was first built. http://www.classicparts.com/1960-66-...ctinfo/04-626/ There is no index and the contents are in no particular order, which requires searching the book every time you want something. With a paper copy you can put sticky notes in it to find stuff later. It's much more difficult using sticky notes on the CD version!

Re: Manuals
We have been working (not recently) on building an index for the yellow manual.

Re: Manuals
I bought the CD off of Ebay that had all of the manuals on it for my son's truck. Then I copied the '63 and the '65 off of the disk onto my phone. Now I have both manuals with me pretty much at all times. I plan to print out a copy like I did for my GMC, but for right now this seems to be working.
